I was asked to tell the story
of how I got into my wrestling/squashing career.
The story was to be part of a show called World Watching
in Japan. The show was to show case big people
living there lives in America. The show included my story,
Squashing, The party scene for Large people, and
how large people also find love and relationships.
How we can have a good life and should be accepted
for who we are.
My
story told of how as a widow with out a source of income
I found a way on the net to survive and provide for
myself and my child. By using my size and
abilities I went from destitute to making money
regularly for years. It included some filming of a
session and clips from another show called Chubby
Chasers in which I did the same.
One
aspect I did not appreciate during this filming was that
the crew wanted me to sit in front of a bunch of food
and even if I didn't eat it. I am supposed
to be reliving my life at a time when I didn't have a
lot of money. Why would I have 3 large pizzas and
bags of chips and sodas around me. I believed they
were trying to portray me as eating a lot of food.
While I can eat I cannot even come close to having three
pizzas in front of me. I don't think I have ever
ordered three large pizzas in my life, except for a
children's party. I refused to do the shoot and
even though a couple of the crew tried to convince me
saying that I wouldn't eat it just sit in front of it.
I still refused because I knew they wanted to portray me
as eating a lot of food and that is a LIE. I eat the
same amount that most people eat. In fact less
than some and maybe slightly more than a few.
I
have to say it was quite interesting an even though
there was a rough spot and I almost walked off the set I was
ok
with the end result.
